Marie Huber is EPD’s former Technical Advisor and is currently working remotely as a consultant, dividing her time between Dublin and Kabul. Ms. Huber has been living and working in Afghanistan for nearly two years doing research for national and international organizations. She has experience giving trainings on research, surveys, and quantitative analysis. Prior to working in Afghanistan, she had been researching Afghanistan for several years, including projects on PRTs and multidisciplinary approaches to gender programming. She has worked with the US Department of State’s Bureau of Legislative Affairs, the US Congress, and political and civil society organizations in the areas of foreign policy, research, and communications. She has lived and worked in the United States, Ireland, Germany, and Afghanistan.
Ms. Huber holds an MPhil in International Peace Studies from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and a BA in Political Science and Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska. She joined EPD in March 2014.
